24 hours. Same applies if you applied clear coat.

I used the G2 paint kit, plus high heat stickers from Amazon. Spent a lot of time cleaning and polishing with a dremel before paint.

I've joined the painted caliper club!

I had to replace my rear calipers due to the sliding pins being rusted/frozen solid. I wasn't about to replace the calipers and let them rust and look nasty like the old ones so I decided to paint them. I used POR caliper paint. I wanted them to be F Sport blue, but they turned out quite a bit darker than F Sport. Ordered the silver stickers from eBay. The rear sticker was an F Sport, but wouldn't fit so I trimmed of the Sport part of the sticker and just installed the F.

Im thinking of redoing my brake calipers to burnt copper, bronze, or orange. Debating spray painting, plastikote, or hi temp vinyl wrap. Painting is easiest but is messy and permanent. Vinyl difficult to apply with all the curves and angles but can be taken off.

Powder coating is the best option IMO.

Default Caliper Color--PlastiDip, Paint, or Wrap?

My caliper paint project is gaining headway! I originally brush painted the calipers silver which is boring because the car is silver.

I really like the burnt orange or copper color. Ive seen those colors in hi temp spray paint, plastidip, and hi temp vinyl wrap. I cant decide which application to use.
--Spray paint is more even but is messy, permanent, and everything has to be masked off to avoid overspray.
--PlastiDip is like spray paint but requires black base coat then color coat. But I assume it can be peeled off.
--Hi temp vinyl wrap only requires a heat gun but will be difficult to get the wrap around every part of the caliper.

Please advise!
