Default Coilovers

Im still trying to find a set of coilovers for my car. Im looking for a good drop, but low also. I also want the ride to be comfortable and stiff.

i was looking at:

Buddy Club,
BC Racing,
Tein SS,
Tanabe,
and Phantom (the ones Platinum VIP offers)

Let me know what you think would be my best bet for these or if you recommend another company.

I heard the Buddy Club coilovers can go very low...With maintaining a good drive.

iirc megan racing only makes one line of coilovers for the 2is - the LP series:

http://www.meganracing.com/products/...=468&catid=125

imo (and strictly imo), they're fantastic, considering how much they can be had. the height adjustment is a given; the 32-way adjustable dampening shocks mean i can dial in a stiffer ride for the occasional spirited driving or a softer ride for daily driving. i believe the springs can be pre-loaded, but i haven't had the opportunity to try that myself.

also, i'm sure many members can attest to how low you can go with them.

the aluminum pillow-ball upper mounts can be hit or miss, depending on the individual. they don't damper road vibration and MAY be creaky, but they do provide a slightly more direct steering/road-handling feel.

i would recommend them for those looking for coilovers on a budget.

regardless, the brands you're considering are all capable. best of luck deciding.

And the price seems very good for coilovers. Hopefully getting them in a month or so.
