RCA without coilovers?
I'm currently running HR springs on my gs4. It is a conservative drop at approx 1.5 on the front and 1.0 in the rear. What if I add RCA's to lower it an additional 1"? Will that combo work? Will the ride quality suffer (I want to say no). What about my alignment....I have about -1 negative camber on the fronts, at the least will adding RCA's keep the camber the same? I'm trying to be cheap and not go with coilovers.

Adding RCAs to the front will increase your negative camber. Ask me how I know
Your upper control arm will be in a different position with the RCA. It's swings up a bit more in an arc motion so it adds a bit of negative camber. How much depends on how low you're already dropped and how thick the RCAs are.

I am under the impression RCA's reduce negative camber regardless of ride height. I am sure you are right GSteg but i was about to purchase some for my front and rears to specifically reduce my negative camber...
Exact has 3 inserts that reduce camber 1,2,and 3 degrees in the rear. don't the fronts though not adjustable reduce camber? or increase?

Moderator CK6speed is running SAGE front (30mm) and rear (30mm) RCAs on OEM stock spring/shock setup. See his post here...

Normally, the front stock susp sits higher than the rear.
He was looking at swapping his front SAGE (30mm) with EXACT RCA (38mm)...because its 8mm thicker = 8mm more drop...thats roughly an extra 1/4 inch more drop up front.
Quality of ride would be same. You will have more negative camber up front since you cannot raise it back up...your only option is to max out your oem camber bolt.
Rear camber can be adjusted with the RCA.
