I just threw on my F-Sport Springs and Shocks yesterday.. used Tein silencers on coils 2, 4, and 6 and I'm good....

It's been a day of driving but I don't get any clunking or noise from my rear at all. I'm gonna give it a few more days before I feel like I'm in the clear.

 

Nice. How many packs of silencers was that?

 

3 packs.. all on the rear springs

 

Glad to know there is an answer to the clunk noise problem.

 

That's because it was back in 2009. The upgraded version of the F Sport springs that were developed after that time do not have clunking issues and you do not need silencers. I have no silencers on mine and they haven't made a peep ever.

 

Thanks for explaining this. I am leaning toward spring only at this point.

 

^^ I'm clear, I just bought some 2weeks ago. Haven't slapped them on yet.
