Default DIY brake pad change and recommendation

How difficult would it be for me to change my brake pads myself? If it's not too difficult, what brake pads should I go with? Anyone have a favorite to go on the stock brake system? Thanks.

try the EBC green brake pad....they are awesome
and if u wan go for the bridgestone steel brake lines......
and if u wanna spend more u can change the rotor to a slotted and drilled rotors from power-stop. All these are stock size.

torque wrench is optimal so u dont undertighten it and the bolt comes loose. i dont own a torque wrench been using my craftsman socket wrenches to do the job.

grease u want it on the rotor hat so next time it'll be easy to take off..because rust plays a factor in bonding parts together.

I've read other threads here that speak highly of the Axxis brand pads. They do have two kinds though,.....one was liked better than the other.

EBC Greenstuff recommended. Stock rotors with aftermarket pads - not. Stock rotors can accelerate the wear of a softer aftermarket pad. And certain aftermarket pads can cause accelerated warping of stock rotors due to extra friction and heat.
Pads are not hard to change at all - if you're car savvy. Best to get a DIY manual of some sort to coach you along the first time if you're unfamiliar, or maybe some instructions off the web.

Try CL'S DIY section. There is a good write-up on changing your stock front brake pads.
