Default Added Mods, Grom Audio, Toms Rear Brace, new brakes

Sup all.
First off, I am not affiliated with Grom Audio.
I bought their ipod integration kit for our cars. The install took 15 mins, and only because of the one clip under the navi.
Impressions: Well the unit just does it's job flawlessly with my 3g Iphone. Every function in my car still works, and i can now control my iphone from the head-unit or the steering controls. Love it, especially for under $100.

Toms Rear Lower Brace.
Easy install too. 4 Bolts, a little jack action to hold the tank up, and all good to go. This is a must mod. The chassis feels really buttoned up now. Even bumps are now absorbed solely by the suspension. The few creeks and groans that I had are gone now. Handling wise, I don't feel like it did too much. But it definitely did something.

FYI, I also have the Toms 3-link, TRD front Brace, Carson Front Strut tower bar, Billstein Sport Shocks, L-Tuned/Eibach springs, Daizen Poly bushings everywhere. So I can't really tell how much of the handling it really improved, but the car feels more solid now, and seems like i get more over-steer. Didn't get a chance to go nuts yet.

Swapped out my brakes. Well, I have been cutting/resurfacing my brake rotors with the last two pad changes. I started to get this clicking sound from my brakes. Yea that instantly went away with new rotors and pads. I got Brembo blanks, Hawk HPS all around for $414 shipped. So when you start getting that clicking from the front, change the rotor, it is too thin, it is not the shim kit or anything like that. I tried that, temp fix, but it comes back.

Ok guys lol. Here is an outdated pic of my car, on winter wheels. I will snap some more pics today to show you the sexiness on is350 rims. I'll get the install pics today too.

This is pretty much how it looks in the winter, and is350 rims in the summer.

Noob to the forum...from what I remember, these kits do not work prior to 2001? Can someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I beleive they work. The only problem you will have is that prior to starting the car, you will need to connect the iphone first.

What I notice is that if you left it in Changer mode (iphone) when you leave the car, you can come back with the car off, start the car, and plug in your iphone, it will work. But if you start the car in FM, AM, CD, or Tape, you need to connect the iphone before you start the car. The unit doesn't power on unless you have the iphone connected priot to startup. Go to their site and you will see if it is available. Thanks.
