I noticed today that the brake fluid was at the 'MAX" level before i left the house when car is cold. After i returned from the gym it was down about 1/2 inch.. Is this normal? i never noticed it until my mechanic and i changed the battery on Friday. He said "you need to add some Brake fluid" its a little low.

Just wondering if this is normal...

I bought some DOt 3 brake fluid just in case but like i said it was at max when the car was cold.. Weird..
