I should be ordering soon!!! just need some advice from those with coilovers
so what would be a good combo for the BC racing coilovers if i want a ride close to stock?
is 10/8 too stiff? maybe a 8/8 or 9/7 if its possible???
remember this is my DD and i drive on REALLY bad roads everyday.

If you look at other coilover specs, they usually have 10-12 for the front and around 7-8 for the rear. But here is a small list of spring rates ive dug up for you.
JIC: 12/7
Tanabe: 10/7
Megans: 12/8
BC stock: 10/8
Tein CS: 7/7
Tein SS: 9/9
I think the sweet spot for the rear might be 7kg and the front i would guess maybe 10. Everything can be adjusted with the damperings

D2 while I would never purchase them personally why are they junk?
I've owned a few sets of coilovers so I know a little about different setups.

I have the Megan's and enjoy them. HKS, Tanabe, & Tein only lower the car @ 1.75" despite what the adv. says. Also Tanabe & Tein CS are twin tube good for street use only.
So with the Megan's you get a "race ready" street set-up that has a monotube cylinder that is in a great price range.
"BUT" If D2 coilovers were on the market when I was buying then I would have chosen D2's. Hands down!
IMO your only two should be: D2's or Megan's
If your going for a coilover that just performs and has great adjustablity then these are your options. I can't see spending big $$$ on coilovers that have no adjustment.
BTW, I have no history with the BC racing. They look nice.??

Tein CS = Mono Tube

I have the BCR stock 10/8 setup and it feels like OEM ride quality with all corners at the softest setting. I have had these coilovers for over a year and I am still loving it.
Best coilover set out there for the money and very good quality as well. Both highway and city driving is great and these coilovers handled so well when I took the car to the mountains with alot of curves and sharp corners.
Even though the D2 and Ksport and Megan Racing are from the same factory, I would opt for BCR's better internals and stronger construction over its counterparts.

I would recommend the Brand that you easily to find service near your home.
The dealer can re-valve those as you prefer.
This link will describe the different between Mono Tube & Twin Tube
