Default Question about rotors

Hey just had a few questions about changing out the rotors on an is350 i want
the sharp look of drilled and slotted rotors and was wondering if anyone else has done the swap, and any thoughts, advice, etc. im wanting to get some off the group buy and wanted some opinions thanks!

if it's all about looks, slotted and drilled rotors are fine.

just don't use them for track use and expect them to last and perform better than your stock units.

r1concepts have them in stock...i have them on my rear and had them in my front before i switched to endless

Heh, I guess I'm just predictable...

If you understand you're doing it purely for cosmetic reasons, and understand you're putting an inferior item in terms of durability (and in extreme circumstances inferior in performance too) on the car, then go ahead.

If you're doing it because you mistakenly think you're -improving- your braking system in any real way, don't, because you're not.

+1. Its just for looks and would only impress those that don't know better.

I was under impression that just slotted rotors are better than drilled rotors.

For track use they are. For street use blank rotors are better still.

Literally the only reason to use drilled rotors is for the look, if you don't mind a product that is otherwise objectively worse.
