Default Noise in the Fronts.

My GS430 with 90k is making weird clinking noise in the fronts. What is it? Noticeable when turning, going over small bumps, when the car rebounds up , and at low speeds. Installed brand new KYBs. Got 6k on them.

Your car can be a 2009 and have balljoints problem. You can't just rule it out based on the year of the car.

I am currently trying to find answers for your same question right now. I have an 01 GS430 with 78K miles and saw so many postings about LBJ's I ordered OEM's from Carson and put them on but It did not seem that they were bad. I have taken everything apart in the front end and do not see anything that could make any noises. I did find that the caster arms/stabilizer arms both had tears in the rubber bushings but was not severe. The rubber had not even torn 1/4 of the way through. I have ordered OEM replacements for those. I will be getting them this week or the start of next week and I will reply after a road test to see if the noise is gone. I believe the noise may be coming from the struts. They are L-Tuned and are 3-years old. I have an TRD front lower brace coming to install becaus the OEM looks so flimsey.

Same here. I think the noise are coming from the front struts. It only makes noise not all the times but most of the time. And the noise is coming from the fronts. Makes like a weird noise, not squeaky. Can't describe unless have experienced it. Keep me updated. Thanks.

I'd suggest someone video tape at a local parking area with lots of speed bump...shopping center. Post it youtube.

Well, the best way to put it is when ever I go at slow speeds like going over little bumps on flat roads, whenever the car gets jounced up, it makes this little cricket noise (don't know how to explain the noise). Only makes noise when the car jumps up. The noise doesn't come all the times, but most of the time though. Any help would be much appreciated.

That's not enough info... you shocks could all be dead. You can't really do the bounce test on these lexus.
