Brembo brake question

I bought a 98 GS4 that has Brembo brakes on it, and (I think) cross drilled rotors. The pads need to be replaced. Do I need to get a specific kind of brake pad, or will any kind of brake pad suffice?

You need specific pads that will fit the calipers. Email brembo and see which pad they use for your set.
