Default Brembo Brake Rotors - 25555 Vs. 25603

Ok so here is a weird one. Maybe I am just not in the know but are all 98-05 GS front brake rotors the same? I was under the impression they were.

TireRack lists two different part numbers for GS300 and GS430. Any idea? Maybe this affects the rear dust shield contact issue?

GS300

Front fitment
Style: Plain
Finish: Plain
Note: (Front) Plain vented rotor.
Price: $55.00 (each) - 05/18/09 Price increased to $68.00 EA.
Estimated Availability: In Stock
Manufacturer Part #: 25555

GS430

Front fitment
Style: Plain
Finish: Plain
Note: (Front) Plain vented rotor.

Price: $82.00 (each)
Estimated Availability: In Stock
Manufacturer Part #: 25603

Don't know if this would help

http://www.buybrakes.com/brembo/am-apps-Lexus.html

25555
Fits these Vehicles

* 1993-2000 Lexus GS300
* 1998-2000 Lexus GS400
* 2001-2002 Lexus IS300
* 1993-1994 Lexus LS400
* 1999-2000 Lexus SC300
* 1992-2000 Lexus SC400

25603
Fits these Vehicles

* 2001-2005 Lexus GS300
* 2001-2005 Lexus GS430
* 2002-2005 Lexus IS300
* 2002-2006 Lexus SC430

also, check to see the rotors themselves...I had the 25555 before my supra conversion and they are cross-drilled. My money is on the disc design itself

When both rotors are laying flat down on the ground, 25603 will be taller by 0.3mm. The difference is so small, I wouldn't worry about it. The calipers should be able to accommodate the difference.

Your the man.

The 25555 is $30 cheaper then the 25603. That's an expensive 0.3mm.
