new brakes still noisy
I got new pads and they still make a loud screeching noise, louder than before actually. The thing is, it only does it at low speeds. I was hoping it'd go away after I used them for awhile, but it's been over 1k miles and it's still doing it. I already used brake cleaner for my rotors and pads, but that didn't do anything.

When u install new pads did u turn the brake rotors ? biggest mistake alot people make is not turn the rotors when install new pads, no matter how the old rotors look always TURN THEM.

some pads dont have tappered edges. before installing new pads, i like to grab a file and just take off the edge a little bit. the smooth edge stops some squeeking from happening.
also apply some anti squeel grease to the back of the pads where the caliper touches it.

Did they re-insatall ALL the brake hardware ?
They probably forgot to do 2 things.
Re-lube the 'ears' of the brake pads where they ride in the stainless clips that they sit in in the caliper
AND/OR
THey lost/did not replace the two springs on top of each brake pad which actually keep the pads pushed apart and AWAY from your rotors when theres no pressure on the predal.
