The calipers are from a 7.0 and can be found on Ebay for around $650.00-700.00 for the pair. You would also need the pads from GM the kit comes with the pins needed to lock down the pads. Those Delco pads run anywhere from $250.00 - 275.00. The rotor are made by Raybestos and I've seen them for 100 dollars on different websites.. The rotors are 14.2 inches , and most BBK brake kit offer 14.0. All in all the with everything needed, cost is around $1300.00 done (brand new) .. Imagine if you can find used or rebuilds ..I'm not sure if there is a 6 piston BBK out there for under 1400.00..

When I've looked in the past, most have been closer to $3000. This is definitely a better way to go.

No there isn't - especially on a 14" rotor. I've never seen one under $1800 and that was with wilwood hardware. These are well made PBR calipers, definitely all high end stuff here for CHEAP

Alright so I came across an interesting issue with these calipers in that if you ever have to rebuild them you're going to run into some problems.

There was a local guy selling some z06 PBR 6 piston front calipers however he took them apart to strip them to get them ready for powdercoating. A couple of the seals got damaged in the process which is fairly normal so he was expecting to go to the dealer and pick up a set of new seals which you've always been able to do for GM calipers, even the CTS-V BBK.

No dice. Not only were they $145 PER SIDE (yes, just for the seals) but he said they were "unorderable".

So I thought I would try my own luck and I called a few chevy dealers in AZ, then tried a couple in vegas and LA. NO dice. They don't have them and they can't get them. Price ranged from $135-$170 per caliper. Everybody told me "well a new caliper is about $500, I can sell you one of those..." sweet...

I have a voicemail in to PBR North America's purchasing department (closest I could get to sales) so I'll keep you guys posted if I get any information.

Wow, sounds like you either stick with the out-of-the-box finish on the calipers, or just use some epoxy caliper paint. Good info to have.

No need to repaint the caliper. The Corvette letters easily come off with just a little acetone. But if needed, then any good powder coating shop can do it without removing the seals..
