350 there is no AWD, so you just got the wrong sway bars.

Yes, I am correct. Up until 2/27/08, the F-Sport Sway sold for the IS250 AWD was the 19mm bar from the ISX50 F-Sport kit for the RWD Models (Which you apparently have). On 2/27/08 an new kit for the AWD model was made available that is different than any other F-Sport kit, and has a stiffer front bar, and a smaller rear bar. See PDF attached. You are OK, if you have an IS350 RWD.

So for the AWD, is the "old" rear sway bar better or is the new one?

Does the sway bar you have come with a manual? If it does come with that piece of paper, the torque should be listed on the front and rear sway bar.

pretty much everywhere ive seen so far has been the standard price of 495

theres this sale on EBAY going on right now for 395
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LEXUS...13138004r21515

otherwise ordering through the dealership, or somewhere like sewell parts online will be the 495...

as far as purchasing them separately, through dealerships and online for the 250rwd and 350 they come as a set, and you cant order them separately as far as i know...

the awd spec bar only comes as a rear, but even im still a bit confused with regards to the difference, but the question has been asked many times and im sure theres an answer in the forum somewhere
