D2 coilovers

Anybody have experience on them? I am planning on buying a set.

dont, change your mind now, do a google on how "good" they are. they are one of the poorest quality coilovers ever made.

Stance might be too stiff for you, but for the money they are good.
If you have patients go with the gixer drew suspension

i have stance. stance is not stiff. on softer settings its like stock. i drive at 3/4 to full stiff. feels excellent :)

Oh ok... my friend owns a shop and he can get me D2's for real cheap. I've read mixed reviews, some say its good. For the price I'm getting it for, I'll give it a try. I'll let you guys know how it is...

I just bought a 97 SC300 with D2 coilovers. They are set too low and too stiff for Iowa roads and weather, but would be quite tolerable with smooth roads. Very quiet, no clunks, and handling is very good, but ride is rather jarring. On the plus side, the adjustable damping covers a broad range, and they are independently adjustable for ride height and spring pre-load.

I spoke with D2, telling them I was planning on using the car in Iowa winters... They said the ride height could be adjusted to near-stock, but the springs were much stiffer than stock, and recommended I either get softer springs, or return to stock suspension.

As I said earlier, handling is very good, but much of this is attributable to the increased roll stiffness from the spring rate. If I was starting from scratch, I would use a softer spring and add anti-roll bars. I'm sure this would leave me with a much better ride, and equally good handling.

I hear Megan coilovers are good---just got a set from speedforsale.com for $884 shipped---actually a $100 more for shipping because I'm out here in Hawaii....

From what I read the coilovers are high quality and the ride is good...

Update

The shipping from Speedforsale is amazing---had it in 3 days!
Out of the box the coilovers look fantastic!
Will report on the ride after installation!

Update

Okay---so the Megan Coilovers are on the MKIV---and they ride just like the stock suspension but just a had stiffer---nothing like the Tein Flexes...much more of a refined ride--in other words not so bouncy...

Only a 3/4" drop all around but the Supra looks great!

Great deal---I'm pretty happy with the Megans
