how do you know...
when to change your shocks? ever since i sold my wheels and stopped driving my car, i just lost my way with this forum. BUt now im back! Anyways...i got the car with 50k miles and ive had wheels on my car at 60k up until 74k miles. The original owner never changed the shocks or what not and I was wondering when is a good time to change them. My car is somewhat bouncy now, and if i do have to change, do i have to change BOTH or can i just change the fronts first then worry about the backs later? Any help will be appreciated..im getting new wheels either tonight or this weekend so i wanna know if i gotta change the shocks. better kill two birds with one lexus.

shocks keep the rebound where it should be. if you push down real hard on the trunk or front and it doesn't stop bouncing in a single rebound your shocks are usually bad
