Default Espelir springs

I just installed espelier springs on my gs300 like 8 hours ago...After installing wheels I still have a 2 1/2 inch gap in front. I check everything to make sure it was done correctly and that was seated correct. Do springs take time to sit to the right drop? I drove around and still nothing...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Does your car look like this now? I am on Espelir/L-Tuned. This is them after settling a couple of days. My tires size is 245/40/18 also. Pretty much same tire size as the stock.

My car still has the gap. When you guys say it has to sit with the new springs, do I need to be driving the car around, or is the weight of the car substantial to settle in the drop. I have not yet registered the car so I installed the springs and it is in my yard...

Car has to move around. Are you saying ever since you lowered the car, the car hasn't moved?

It has moved but not on the Highway or anywhere far, just around the block. I will try taking it for a long drive, yes I just had it sitting and an occasional spin.

Thanks, I will keep you guys posted and put up some pics

I had Espelir/L-tuned on my 400, it will settle. I loved it.

Thanks for all the replies...Do you all think the reason I see such a big gap is because of my tire size as well? I am driving on 245/30/20

if you dont, you have to understand that even Espelirs wont "slam" your ride. they will however bring the car down to the ground significantly. i have them on my 03 and it rides wonderful. its not "really" your tire size or anything that makes the drop look that way. but it does look nice

No, I had a bud that chose the same setup b/c he liked mine, he went with 20s, the car looked perfect slammed on it. Tons of pics of the setup here

The overall diameter of the tire WILL affect how much gap is visible. Your tire size is pretty close to stock. running a slightly taller tire will help close some of that gap but will also get the car that much more off the ground and may create rubbing issues.

If your springs have settled and still have a lager than normal gap I would ask someone with 20s and Espilers or search this forum for alternate tire sizes.
