You have TRD JZA80 Supra Tower bar and he got a JZA70 (MKIII) Supra Tower bar

clevercat Apr 10, 2008 09:10 AM

I see.
He should get MKiV bar...

scoarer400 Apr 10, 2008 09:27 AM

well, i plan on getting washers to to raise the bar from the intake manifold. is it bad to be driving it like this? does it affect anything? It is for a mkiii, but it seems to fit fine, other than sitting to low, that is.

I doesn't look bad IMO. How does it feel when your driving, does it perform okay?

dude its a useless upgrade. it wont help anything. its just for looks. if you think it helps its all in your head for the most part. that trd bar looks like the cheap chit you can get on ebay. a real strut tower bar should be triangulated to be most effective.

the jza80 bar is a good design but i would try to get one that goes along the lines of the DSM evo8/9 or the st165 celica trd bar. its triangulated. noone makes it but oh well.
