Tanabe GF210 for '01 GS430
Alright guys, I'm planning on getting the GF210's pretty soon but noticed that they don't list the GS430 as one of the applications for it, only the GS300 ('98-'05). Now I've heard that they will still work perfectly on the 430 and there will be no problems, has anyone done this? any suggestions?:uh:
-I should also mention that I'm going to be using these on the stock shocks/struts and stock 16" wheels ... Also, there is another thread going on about whether or not to cut the bump stops, is this recommended for the GF210's on my 430 or not? if so, how much should be cut?:uh: |
the springs will work for all gs models 98-05, if you're planning to get gf210s; you might want to consider buying new struts too. the strut you run on now will blow quick once you drop your gs on gf210s. and as for the 16" stock wheels, they will sit fine.:)

Really? You think they would blow quick? One of the guys from Tanabe said I should be just fine with the stock shocks/struts :uh:

yeah basically, if the springs drop your car 1-2 inch, you'll blow your stock strut quick. so think about buying new struts for them gf210s too.

i would get kyb gr-2 or bilstein, get bilstein sport since the springs will drop you around 1-2 inches, they hold up better. kyb is kinda like stock replacements.
