Hopes this can help some of you out, saved me about $600 - both my front sensors needed to be replaced after a ball joint failure..

In the suspension area. In fact, if you take a look at the front suspension, you can see the wire being attached to the shock through a 10mm bolt.

ohhh ic the reason why i ask because i changed my shocks to cs coilover awhile back and i believe i ripped the wire

Yup. It happens a lot. The wire must be held to the point where they wont be stretched.

If you still have the pics available that would be awesome. I am trying to find out where this all goes on my 1997 SC300 because my entire harness is missing along with the VSS. I only have a blue connector dangling near the transmission dipstick that I can only assume is the location where the harness connected as it runs down to where my VSS would be.
