TEIN Lowering Springs Question?

Ok so i have an is250 and i was looking around for some lowering springs. I came upon the TEIN Lowering Springs S Tech, which say the give 1.6 in the front and 1.2 in the back. To me that would be a great drop. But there is a catch for some reason when i look them up they are under the is350 sections. Why is this and would it be ok for my rear wheel drive is250?

Tein H. Techs offer a more mild drop. i think 1" in front and .5" in back?:uh:

He isn't talking about the H tech, he is talking about the S techs. And what do you mean by "catch" be more specific.

by "catch" i mean when i look for the Tein S springs it doesn't come up for the is250, does that mean they do not work for my model?

it will work. all springs are interchangable. IS250, IS250AWD, and IS350 can all use the same springs. And also the 06+GS springs fit our cars.

the s-techs for the is350 is fine for the is250.

Yep, the s tech is guarantee to fit the Is250. I have a 250 and i use the tein s. And it looks great. The drop is slightly more than the eibach pro-kit i believe. According the sonicms(bay area), the place i did my mods, tein is more suitable for Japanese cars than eibach because they will give you more comfy rides. I'm not too sure though. Either way, i'm loving my tein s.

alright that is great thanks ever one, jus wanted to make sure that they were good for the is250 rear wheel drive, and with all the input it seems seems like i will put some money down for the TEIN S

maybe you can ask m_shockers to hook you up w/ a set of s-techs, since "someone is trying to push a sale"...

what are you talking about? i dunno what you're being so defensive about. i already have my springs dude. im saying that the SHOP was trying to push a sale because they said that "since they're japanese springs it is more suitable for japanese cars and provides a more comfy ride". the statement is FILLED with fallacy, and the salesman was clearly "trying to push a sale"...."roll-eyes"

gman1227 01-20-08 08:19 PM

hahaha, ive been look around for a while, and it was a toss up between h & r, and tein s, but i didnt want the tein h, cuz not enough drop, but yea if i could get hooked up that wouldnt be bad, haha

it was a joke... anyway, let's break this down:

fact: tein s-techs for is350s fit is250s.

opinion: tein s-techs are more suitable for japanese cars and provide a more comfy ride, etc.
