Default Perhaps one day

I've looked into CTSV brakes but they are quite out of my price range right now. Also looked into a touareg calipers but I want to upgrade all 4 brakes symmetrically to not upset the braking bias.

Yeah kinda weird how they don't approach the center of the rotor, but these are small calipers when compared to a 6 piston lol. If they have adequte pad clearance and aight fitment I'll be happy 😂

Also for anyone who is interested, here is a link to the post where he shares the spacer design for the LS400 caliper + ISF rotor:

Check out the idea

I will attempt to make the rears IS F compatible as Provoke Designs already completed the front ones.
This is interesting. So this technique uses:

-- Lexus IS-F front rotors
-- 1995-2000 LS400 front calipers
-- This fellow's custom caliper brackets (he runs Provoke Designs?)
-- a 3mm spacer on each wheel
-- minimum 19" front wheels with... how much built in clearance?

The rears being made compatible in some bolt in way after modifying the 92-97 SC300 and larger 98-00 SC300 & SC400 dust shields would be a great match too if it can be done. I found that once I added Supra TT rear calipers to match the fronts there was a subtle but definite better balance/bias between the front and rear brakes so any setup that achieves the same is likely going to be a little better in any high stress sustained or track braking situation before specialty brake fluid comes into play.

The IS300 Gen1 rear calipers have been tried before I think but they presented more trouble than was expected. The IS-F rears however are a new one to me that I haven't heard much about people trying.

Very curious to see how your experiment works out.

This is the first time I've heard of using IS300 rear calipers on an SC. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot if it's an easy process.

Talking Verifying center to center measurements.

In case anyone wanted an update, I currently have a gauge tool printed to check my center to center measurement of the caliper mount and strut mounts. The measurements in the doc are of my own and listed measurements acquired off forums by anecdotal evo 8/9 caliper fitment as well as stock rear strut mount dimensions from people converting to mkiv rear calipers on a mkIII supra.

I have acquired sc430 rear calipers and am waiting on the IS-F rotors for rotor offset and mount offset. If I remember correctly, IS300 rear calipers are the same with the exception of larger pistons (40mm instead of 35mm, both AISIN 2 piston calipers), I got the sc430 ones for sole convenience and cost. Will chime in again with a progress update soon!
