how do you guys get around the cluster of power steering fluid lines around the 2 bolts on the driver's side? I really don't want to take it off and then put it back on. also has anyone experienced extremely hard bushings that cannot be hammered out with a screwdriver?

ok i left my usb upload cord at work so no pics until monday.
pitman tierod puller is your best friend if you are a DIYer. I pushed out the bottom one straight on (from rear to front of the car), but the top one requires to be pushed out at a sharp upward angle (from front towards the rear of the car). I cleaned the steering rack bushing housing to make sure the new bushings slide in smoothly along with some grease. I also greased the bolts and inner metal tube.
The bottom bolt can be tightened with 1 feet socket wrench with 4" extension. The top bolt should be tightened with a breaker wrench (3 feet) with a 5" extension to clear all the power steering lines. The bolts are the same size and length, so i still can't figure out why the top bolt requires more torque to screw in.
Once again, thanks you Henry for your insights and DIY guide.
