Default Stock GS300 riding harsh

I have a stock GS3 with the stock beefy tires and seems as though the car doesn't ride like the Lexus "soft plushy ride" It seems like my car rides rougher then should be. Maybe I'm used to my dad's E-Class and the way it just absorbs the bumps for the nice soft ride. I doubt that the shocks are blown b/c I think I would definitely be able to tell, but it just seems to ride kinda harsh. My old TL on stechs with stock shocks seemed to ride softer. Does anyone else experience a more harsh then normal ride?

my car is a 2000 with 67k on it. It actually kinda makes me mad when because of the harsh ride and all the noise from the cabin...like the glove, radio, sunroof and what seems to be the rear headliner or rear deck. I haven't isolated the creaking sound from the rear yet. It doesn't feel like I'm riding in a nice luxury car, rather feels like i'm in an standard car.

67k on NY road is probably going to cut the shocks' life short.

What brand of tires? If the car has that many miles, I doubt they are actually the original OE tires.

Tires make all the difference!
