I had the local shop here install the above mentioned lowering kit today. Well, when I get the car back the tech tells me the "ABS" light is on and on the way home the "TRAC ON" light begins blinking.

Question:

Will this go away, is the computer "re-setting" itself or did they damage/break something. The tech told me to come back in a week if the light is still on. Any suggestions? Thanks

thats odd I had that same set up put in my 02 and none of those lights ever came on

Are you also having problems with your HID headlights?

I installed my Tom's advox coilovers a few weeks ago, and didn't have the abs light or trac light pop up, but the headlight light on the dash was staying on, and when I turned them on the headlight beam didn't sweep up and then down...

I am not sure if it is on this forum or the my.is forum but there is a thread about self leveling headlights after lowering the car. I would go do a search and see what resolution you can find.

They replaced the right front wheel-abs-trac control sensor and everything seems to be fine now. I think they broke it in the install.

yea that is fairly fragile and can definitely be jacked up when dropping your suspension if you aren't careful.

glad you got that taken care of before you needed your ABS!

Just finished a DIY on the eibach springs and the abs and trac light came on also anyone know how much those sensors run??
