Default DIY Brake Flush??

I have searched the forums but cant find a DIY flush. I see bleeding only. I can get a compressor automatic bleeder gun , where it has a tube that connects to the valve and a reservoir for the bleeded fluid.. Does anyone know how to do this? How much fluid do I need? Do I need to pump and hold with the bleeder gun? Any links that you guys know of for this? I read that the gs can be tricky with the ABS system, should I even try to do it my self?

My brake fluid reservoir looks pretty clean, should I even bother? I have 62K and I bought it @56K. I dont know if it has ever been done?

Keep on bleeding the brakes until new fluid comes out.

The ATE superblue fluid?

I have that on my car and all I did was kept on bleeding until I saw blue fluid coming out. It's that simple.

So just keep bleeding until new fluid comes out, but my current fluid already looks pretty clear, so should I even bother? And if I do how many times should I bleed each caliper to make sure its flushed, since the fluid will probably not look any different?

Also is DOT 3, DOT 3? Meaning The guy at autozone gave me the Autozone brand DOT #. IS this okay? And my original question is how much do I need?

I bled each caliper at least 7 times just to make sure I got the new fluid in (in my dad's car).

In my car, the fluid I bought was blue so I could easily tell if new fluid was coming out.

DOT 3 should all be about the same, but I'm using the ate super blue when I do mine. I'm hoping 2 liters is enough, but not sure. maybe someone who knows for sure can chime in on quantity.

If you want to do a thorough bleed, you will need a toyota service tool or equivalent that can open up the ABS unit. I paid like $350 for mine. Autoenginuity scantool with Toyota factory service/scantool option package. The old/new fluid will mix if you ever activate your ABS if you don't bleed out the fluid left in the ABS unit.

Is it possible to use the fuse to activet it?
