Default Suggestions on the size and kind of spacers that I should get?

I have IS 350 wheels on my GS 255/40/18-REARS
225/40/18-FRONT
What size spacers should I put on my car? I was considering 15mm and 20mm on the rears with 5mm or 10mm on the fronts. But I don't want any rubbing.
Secondly, who should I go with, H&R's or Ichiba? I'm also trying to stay with my stock lugs, but if I have to change them I will. But I've read while doing my search that some owners had problems with their aftermarket lugs breaking. If so, ARP is who I'm thinking about going with. I don't want any rubbing issues in the front or the rear. Thanks guys for all the feedback.

You really want to avoid spacers if at all possible. If you have to use them, go with the thinnest ones you can to avoid any rubbing.

Just my opinion.

I am riding on a L-Tuned suspension setup. I rear wheels are 8.5 inches wide and the front are 8 inches if I not mistaken. Will rubbing be an issue with these wheels as well if I go with 10 ml in the rear and 7or8 ml in the front? What other issues other than rubbing do I need to be worried about? I don't drive my car hard except for on the highway at times and only if the road is straight.

With 8.5 & 8's on 18's, you shouldn't have any rubbing problems. If you're using spacers just to fill out your wheel wells, you'll have to check your offsets then look at what thickness of spacers. Again, spacers are never a good thing; should only be used if absolutely necessary.

Spacers made from reputable companies such as H&R are made very well so the chance of them breaking is slim to none. Plus, the H&R spacers come with new extended lug nuts so that you can still utilize your stock lug nuts. The biggest issue that people run into it the lug studs that gets snap off when the wheels are no torque down correctly. Else, spacers are perfectly safe to use. Lastly, what's the purpose for you running spacers if you don't mind me asking?

I was going to get them to fill up the wheel well a little more. And I've been considering getting a Supra BBK. I might not need the spacers, but I know that the spacers would make it a non-issue if there ever was one.

I am running that setup with Tanabe NF210s and stock shocks and the only rubbing I have ever experienced was going over expansion joints on the highway when I was going 75 MPH+. The front end bottomed out and scraped the inner fender. No significant damage. Otherwise no problem. I may just need to change out my shocks to rectify the problem.

With supra TT brakes, a 10mm H&R spacers will make the caliper clears without any problems and will make the tires sit flush with the front fenders.

I'm not sure what size you're going to need for the rears as mine sit pretty flush with the fender.
