Default Warrantied my brakes at 20k miles

Just got my brakes done for free from the TSIB for the dusty brake pads. I had 20k miles on the car, should I feel bad? I'm just bummed that I drove 20k miles with brake dust on my wheels the majority of the time.

nah. you shouldn't.

If your pads have more then 4-5/32, then you qualify.

If it was less then the required amount, they would reject you.

so don't feel bad.

Cool. Maybe it was becuase I also redeemed my full detail at the same time that they owed me for screwing something up a while back.
I just felt like I really got something for free. Doesnt happen too often. hehe

Someone post the TSB please. If my memory is correct, there is absolutley no mention of anything having to do with how worn the brakes are, mileage, etc...

Try Lexus of Kendall. That's where I did mine and I had 15k miles when I did it.

Also, I'm pretty sure it says on the TSIB the amount of mileage that is covered.

You are partially correct. Brake pad wear is NOT a condition of the TSB. However, it must be done prior to 48 months or 50k miles from the in-service date, whichever comes first.

I assumed that most owners would not have over 48,000 miles on their cars yet!
