Default Lowering

Do I have to get shocks also if I want to go a little lower with my GS? And what springs drop me not enough to scrape, but enough to look hot?

You don't HAVE to get shocks, but I would recommend it to improve your ride....as for springs, I think with 18's, it'll make the car "look ok"...but with coilovers, you can control it yourself and go a little lower to make it look HOT!

Hey Genius1512,

I have the Bilstein Sports Shock with Eibach Spring setup on my car. Eibach lowers about 1.2” Front and 1” in back. From what I read a lot of post from others, L-tuned Spring is the same as the Eibach. The ride on my car is not harsh, but firm. I am sorry that you did not mention that you need to lower your car when we are at the CT meet. I could show you how the car ride and how much it drop between yours and mine. I think if you want to play safe and not to scrape the bottom, 1.5” will probably be the lowest you want to drop your car. If the budget is not a problem, maybe the coilover will be ideal. It will allow you to adjust the height and firmness.
