Exclamation So I just changed my front brakes....

Wow, my DIY skills are improving Very simple now that I am thinking about it, I have L-tuned skirts so I had to use 2 jacks b/c the big jack would not fit under the skirts.

Took about an hour and 3 cases of beer but its done

I'm about to tackle mine. they are originals with 39k miles and are pulsating a little. I've got all the new front and rear oem pads, clips, pins, shims etc. in my garage. I still have to buy new brembo oem style rotors and ate blue fluid from tirerack.

did you turn or replace the rotors? how about a flush?

Didn't turn the rotors or flush the system, Trying to figure out the BBK route I am going to go soon

It was simple, I didn't take pics but can walk you through it if you need help.

brakes are easy... i like to use the special brake grease that lexus/toyota has to lube my shims and fitting kit... and i use sil-glide (silicone grease) to lube my caliper sliders...

if u go to any toyota dealer ask them for the special brake grease that they used for squeaky sienna brakes and most parts guys should know what you're talking about and sell you a tube... it's not cheap, but it's the best and quietest stuff around!
