Default Eibach Pro Kit v. Tein H Tech

I've noticed that an overwhelming majority of the people on this forum who have chosen to lower their IS have gone with the Eibach Pro Kit. I was wondering why that is so, and why people didn't choose the Tein H Tech instead. Both companies are reputable and the price for both are relatively the same, so I'm just curious as to what led people to go with Eibach over Tein.

Thanks!

For one, my friend has Tein on his car and it doesn`t sit evenly. Then I read on here folks with tein springs are saying the same thing. So I went with Eibach. Sits even and ride smooth.

^ My Eibachs don't sit even... My front gap is still bigger than the rear.

I went with the H-techs because they have a slightly bigger differential in the front to rear drop than the Eibach's and I also wanted to keep the ride as close to stock as possible (i.e. lower spring rate). That being said, my right front sits a little higher than the left. I don't know if that's a characteristic of the Teins or as somebody mentioned in another thread that almost all Lexus' tend to sit higher on the right front. Aside from this issue, I'm very pleased with the H-techs.

My Eibach's sit just like stock without the gap, ride is firm and steady, even with stock rollers....but who rides stock ????

You are correct! The ISx50 does not sit evenly even from the factory, Ive measured mines and I have the Performance Package, and the passenger side sits a bit higher almost a 1/4in if Im correct. I think people went with the Eibachs due to popularity, but in the end its all preference. I chose the Stechs and will actually be installing soon, I cant wait anymore LOL (To those that know)

Since5Oh - Nice setup, I juts ordered the springs for my car since the Coilovers don't fit on the AWD.

How is the ride compared to factory? As I know the TEIN H-tech are probably the least amount of drop of all the springs. I'm trying to get as close to factory as possible.

Did you get the springs yet? Time for me to start looking for springs. I'm leaning towards the Tanabe. I'd like to see how yours look.

Thanks
