Hey guys i just picked up my GS300 and im back in the lexus family after going to the darkside. Sorry guys but im back for good. Cant take those german cars anymore! But anyways what springs will give me the lowest drop? I might go with coilovers but not sure. On my last GS i used ESPILIRS i think thats how you spell it. But yeah they gave me an OKAY drop. Im used to riding slammed on my rides and i would like to go low. im thinking 2.5 inches in front and maybe 2.2 in rear. I tried a search but nothing.

To the best of my knowledge, it's the Tanabe DF210's that'll give the lowest drop - 1.9" up front and 1.6" for the rear. If you want to go any lower your only other options are coilovers or air.

I used to have the Daizen springs before I went to coilovers.
1.9 F / 1.7 R not much different from the Tanabe that Seize posted above.

if you want to slam your car, then coilovers might be your best route from what i've read on the forums. i was going to get coilovers, but, cant afford it. i'm probably leaning towards spring/shock combo (either daizen or espelir) for a nice drop. besides, i heard a nice set of coilovers will cost well over $1800 (i heard tein is getting a bad rap in japan lately). again, just my 0.02

I've done my research over the past several months and the Tanabe DF210 are the springs I'm going for since coilovers are out of the question. Don't know what size wheels you have but I don't think these springs will give you the "slammed" look that your looking for.

i have a bunch of friends in the s2k club and some people i know in japan. again, to each their own. everyone has their own preference. i was going to get tein cs, and even researched other japanese coilovers, but i cant afford that much money. so i'm going with the springs/shocks combo. i drive like a grandma and dont drive aggressive anymore.

i saw on ebay a few non brand springs that claim a 2.5" drop, i don't think you will find any lower drops. coilover go to a 3" drop, so it's not that far off.
i hope you have a tire sponsore, your camber is going to kill your tires quick.

daizen...ive never heard of them when i had my lexus a couple years ago. The big names then were bilstein pss9, teins, and tanabes. How much will daizens run me? i plan on putting 20's on my car...not really the slammed look but being comfortable when i drive. Do you guys recommend 20's or 19's? I will be riding on stocks for awhile and im looking for 18 inch stock GS third gen wheels. Do they fit the 2nd gen?

let me get this straight, you want the biggest drop, but want it to be comfortable you should be asking what air suspention to get not springs
