Default New Tein CS vs. the Old?

So, now that the new CS have been out for a while, what's the verdict? Is there any real difference in ride quality compared with the old ones, whether on the stiffest setting or the softest setting?

Do the new ones make less noise?

Are the new ones any more durable?

Can we even still get the old ones?

Do the old ones make any noise? I thought they were as quiet as a church mouse? How about the new ones?

Kevin,

What kind of noises do yours make? Where does the noise come from? Struts, mounts, springs? thanks,

Scott

Tommy,
can you describe what type of noise you are hearing and when it occurs?

If you hear the same noise before and after the switch, I would think it is something else causing the noise.

Mine are silent from what I can tell.

A little off topic, but I'm just curious. I have the Tein Flex right now and I love how it handles and the very firm ride. The only problem is that it's very loud when I have the windows rolled up and no music playing. I want something quieter but don't quite want to drop to the CS level of handling. I heard some good stuff about the JIC coilovers being quiet and still have great handling. Anyone have any experience with any "spirited driving" coilovers that are still relatively quiet. I don't mind the $1700 price tag as long as it will meet my requirements.

My TEIN CS v1 is not noisy. Its been 15 months since its installed.

My Daizen Sways is noisy, and I just had it re-greased...
