Kinda in a predicament..

I have a 92 lexus sc400 thats at the body shop right now.
I have a vertex body kit at the shop but it hasn't been put on yet.
I have tein cs coilovers on their way and will be here in a couple of days.

Right now im debating on whether or not i want to have this kit put on.
The streets in hawaii have a good amount of pot holes and where i live has speed bumps into my apartment. I got the vertex kit for 600 shipped to hawaii and its a knock off from AITRacing.com.

The guy at the autoshop seems kinda sketchy about how the body kit work and fitment might come out because its not bolt on. Im kinda leaning towards just keeping my stock 92 body right now and slamming my car real low instead of slamming it a little bit with the vertex kit and possibly getting my kit screwed up on speedbumps in the future.

What should i do guys? should i wait the extra time for the shop to fit the kit and take a risk or should i just try to sell the kit locally for $500 and keep my stock body with a big drop? I have to make my decision by tomorrow so please help :)

First of all, change your sig...Vertex has nothing to do with your body kit...except the fact that it was copied.

Second...if you're worried about fitment...go with the best. OEM 97+ The OEM pieces come factory painted so you'll never have to see that body guy ever again.

Speed bumps? what speed bumps? go with air suspension.

Ok thats true and i changed my sig.
I understand the pieces come factory painted but is the lexus white going to match my cadillac white diamond paint on the rest of my car?
Another question i have about the 97+ is do you need every part for it to look good or can i just upgrade the front bumper then later on do side skirts and rear bumper?

Im not going to buy air suspension after i just paid for my tein cs.
Thanks for your input bro.

What pieces come factory painted??

Don't know of any kits that come already painted using Lexus paint codes.

And even if it did it most likely would not match your GM pearl white. 2 different companies, 2 different shades of white.

as stated, you would have to get the 97 kit painted. it will look good with just the front bumper, but why not get the sides, door moldings, and rear while your car is already in the shop? do it all at once. since your paint is fresh, it should match nicely.

lol, calvin, i like how your answer to everything is air suspension.:p

id be cautious about slamming the car then if you think your roads arent worthy enough for a mild drop/kit. id rather jack the **** out of a body kit than have any mechanical piece slap the ground. remember bumpers are just like brake rotors/pads and clutches, they are high wear items.

ok guys i think i decided to go OEM instead of knockoff :)
