Default 19" Axis Malano is rubbing my caliper "please help"

I just got 19 axis malano 8.5 front and 9.5 rear, the front wheels are rubbing on the caliper . What should I do ? Should i get 5MM H&R spacers and longer studs? or shave the caliper?

1. measure distance from inner fenderwall liner to outer most part of tire. If it measures > 5mm, Buy cheap spacers from kragens, otherwise, buy a grinder w/3 grit sandpaper and grind away

Stock calipers or bbk? I don't normally hear rims hitting stock puny calipers unless the spokes are like designed to curve in.

Yea if your running stock brakes they shouldn't hit. Make sure they are the right offset.. GL

I have the same wheels. Mine were hitting the front calipers also. I just grinded the caliper and it clears now.

I have a 35 offset and 45 offset Milano 19x8.5 for sale in the classifieds. You will get no rubbing with those offsets. Pm me if interested. I have a seperate set of 35 offsets up from on my car now and I have no rubbing at all.

I wouldn't suggest grinding the walls of the calipers. You don't want any weakspots in your brake system.

I have a pair of 2mm spacers in my garage that I can sell you for cheap under 20 bucks. That should give you some clearance between the calipers and spoke without cutting.
