Steering question

Hi, long time lurker with a question.

In my gs3, the steering doesn't seem to correct itself anymore after a turn. I have to manually turn it back to the straight position.

Not sure if this is related to the problem, but a few times when i'm hitting an onramp, i can hear and feel some clicking noises in my steering.

What do you guys think the problem is?

most likely... a blown strut... wasted balljoint maybe. thats about the only stuff that can make noise... also possible to be a wheel bearing. .. go wabble your car on each side.. soo if one side is more floppy then the other... how many miles.. (i have good condition oem strut assy if u want.. )... also... try just kicking your wheel on the tire see if you hear that sound.. if you do try to figure out where its comin form

That sounds like some of the results I've heard of people who tightened their steering pretensioner. Might be worth checking out. If you do a search for "steering pretensioner" you will find pictures of what that thing looks like.

Its bone stock with 103k on the clock.

Doubt its the struts b/c I just replaced my blown ones with new OEM ones.
