Default Tein coilovers

What's the difference between the CS and Flex coilovers? How many settings, etc? Which one would you guys recommend for a 2001 GS3? How about the basic type? I'm looking for something that's adjustable but not too harsh, keeping in mind I have 20's and live in NJ.

both have 16 settings for dampening. the flex is stiffer and the cs is softer. the flex allows you to drop the car more than the cs

personally i had HA and then flex and now the cs. cs is the most confortable and still make me think i am in a lexus

Thanx rominl, I guess the CS is the one I am going to go with. Seems like the popular choice around here anyway.

I was also considering just going with lowering springs. Would I be able to use lowering springs with my stock shocks? Will there be any problems that I should know of? What springs do you guys suggest, I don't want the car to be too low, I just want it to sit right above the tires.

My impression is that just as many if not more people have the Flex. If you really want to know then take a poll and see.

By the way I have the flex

I ran for two years with H"&R sport springs and the stock struts. I never had any problem at all. My struts had over 100k miles on them when I made the change so if it is common to have issues I would have expected for me to have them.

H&R lowered it a couple inches or so.

So I guess the answer is yes that I can use aftermarket springs with my stock suspension. Now I just have to find the right springs with the right drop. Thanx for the info.
