i was reading through an old turbo magazine, and they had this article about tein rebuilding their coilovers. the whole article was pretty interesting, not only does tein recondition the coilover system but they can also change the dampening to rebound more/less.

sooo has anyone really sent their coilovers to get rebuilt by tein usa?

i know from previous threads that the going rate is like what $75 a coilover correct?

to ppl who have gotten their coilovers rebuild:
how long was the turnaround time?
impressions of the rebuild?
are you satisfied with the rebuild?

this is very old. however since no one answered, I will.

Yes, Tein rebuilds Tein coilovers. They will not rebuild another brand. I have probably brought over 30 coilovers to them for rebuilds. They replace parts, charge them, adjust rebound, etc....whatever is needed to be done so they are in brand new condition when they leave. Its not cheap either.

MOST coilover manufactures rebuild their own coilovers.
