Default Running EDFC Cables - HELP

There is no specific thread on this. Everyone just says it can be challenging. The rear is a no-brainer, it's all inside the car, no different than audio wiring. The front is a completely different story.
I remember running 4-gauge thru the firewall behind the battery, and that was certainly no party. Drilling, etc. Double firewall panel, if I remember correctly.
I just went out to my car to survey the land for running the EDFC cables. The connectors on the end are not round, for one thing. They don't look like they can be pushed thru anything, and you can't pull to hard on them either, or you rip the connector off, or damage the connections. That's problem #1.
Problem #2 is, where is the best place to get these through on the drivers side, and the pass. side? Go thru the firewall, or under the car? Drill new holes, or punch thru existing ones? (I really wish they would put access holes thru the firewall in these cars. Arggggh!)

Anybody have any pics of where their front 2 cables go thru? Any advice and/or pics appreciated.

Jerry

On the drivers side on near the master cylinder there is a boot that has wires going thru. You can cut a little and push the wires thru.

Thanks. Are there boots on the interior and engine side of the firewall there? Or do the wires just come thru easily when you do that?

It has been awhile but I think mine went through those rubber grommets on both the passenger and the driver side. You just need something stiff to push/pull the wires through. you might also need to slit the grommet a little for some wiggle room.
