Default which shocks tend to wear out faster...front or rear...

I was wondering if either the front or rear shock wears out faster than the other, or if it is the same. I am going to purchase shocks, but due to my funds for my indash screen I can only purchase a pair of either the fronts or rears. What do you guys recommend. Thanks.

I'd say they wear out about even. Whatever bumps goes through the front end will eventually go through the rear end (you drive straight most of the time right?).

I'd all 4 replaced at once. Save up for the replacement, or at least confirm which ones are truely gone.

I would guess the fronts, because of motor weight and the front brakes do about 70% of work when braking so the front end has more load on it more often.

Yep, the fronts wear out faster because of the extra load of the engine.
