Reviving the thread.

The 97+ LCA's appear to have different sleeves, any input on how I should tackle these?

Problem solved thanks to input from RedPheonix, I'll post some pictures in the next day or two regarding the slight differences involved in installing bushings into 97+ LCA's.

I just finishedup about 20 minutes ago. Besides the eccentric bolts being sezed inside the inner bushing sleeves this was relatively simple. I never needed a press; a $20 plumbing torch from home depot did the job. Just got back from the test drive and i can really feel a difference. Definitely worth doing.

so i had a mechanic press out the lower controll arm bushings out and he bent the little metal shell (cup) that the bushing goes into... i hope im explaining myself right...

so u have a lca when u press the bushing out it has a shell around the bushing(metal) and inside the bushing has a long metal washer the screw goes thru...

the shell (highlighted in red above) is what is is bent!!!

do i need to use that shell or can i put the bushing straight into the controll arm???(no shell)

please help

Just asking opinions, I am installing new sway bar bushings, steering rack bushings, and 4 new struts.

Should I install both Front and Rear control arm bushings? or just the fronts? Cheapest place to purchase all of them together? JEGS has them cheaper than Daizen, quality loss?
