Question Daizen OEM Sway Bar Bushings

how many of you are still using OEM sway bars but have upgraded to the Daizen sway bar bushings? my car has about 125k miles and i've noticed that my oem rubber bushings are quite hard now. i was thinking of trying these Daizen bushings, but would like an opinion from those who have them on their car. my questions are:

1. do they make noise? (ie. squeeks, creaking)

2. how is the handling compared to the oem bushings?

3. do the make the ride more harsh?

4. any other problems come up after installing these bushings?

thanks in advance

1. No...if you followed installation instructions

2. Handling is better...less body roll on turns

3. No...harsh ride normally come from stiff suspension setup.....not sway bars.

4. Nope.

1. Initially, but was regreased and made sure the mechanic didn't overtight it. Creaks were over the bumps and dips.
2. Much better. For $30, why not? I would say approx 4/10 better, where 10/10 is probably with better suspensions and aftermarket sways.
3. Not at all.
4. Yes, wanting to do more suspension mods

Dewwww it!!!!!!

i know the rears are spec'd to be tightend to 13 pounds, but the lowest my torquewrench goes to is 15. you guys think 15 would be too tight? i know that torquewrenches usually have a tolerance of plus or minus around 2 pounds.

also the fronts. i heard some people torque to 18 pounds, some 21. which is the right one?

oh, and how to contact todd? email, phone, or visit his shop?

Default link for DIY and question

I have the L-Tuned Shocks and Springs. Any opinions on how much more or less I will feel improvement over stock bushings? Secondly, is there any impact this mod will have on the vibration around 65. I read in this DIY that the car felt was more planted at highway speed. Just wondering if that may translate to less chance for shimmy.

Here's the link. I think I may do this just because it's only $30.
