Default Does dropped cars have more tire noise?

I just noticed that I am getting more tire noise from my setup. I have eibach springs with l tuned shocks and I am noticing more noise from my tires. I had more noise from my stock ones when I first got the tires but its getting worse. I was wondering, would even my stock tires be noisy on dropped setup because of negative camber? If so, when correcting the camber should improve my noise issue right? I need that camber kit soon....

If tires get worn, even slightly, by the camber being off, the noise can go up dramatically, and fixing the camber may not get rid of the noise, sorry.

Lowering alone shouldn't increase tire noise if alignment is reasonable. If you JUST put on the springs/shocks, suggest you get an alignment immediately, and maybe another one a few months from now.

Mine are not that bad, I just started to notice the inside the tire worn little more than outside. My tires are pretty new. I did have alignment done about month ago and rechecked 2 days ago. I am getting annoyed by this noise. Would camber kit and new tire be only solution to noise issue?

there are no camber kits for the second gen gs. its may also be the brand of tires that causes more noises when they wear down. my falkens were noisier than my toyos when they started wearing.

I would suggest that you search for your tires on a site like the tirerack. com and see what the score for noise confort is. Before I got my Bridgestone I had the Yokohama and the noise was so bad from day one that it felt like there was a cow mooing in my car at all times.

Also remember that a low profile tire will also increase the noise compared to a regular size tire.

Good luck
