No not at all, and I'm in NYC. When I was shopping for the Billsteins, I talked to a bunch of Billstein workers. The main difference in the shocks from the Sport to HD, is that the Sport have a longer shaft. Just make sure to chop the front bumpstops.

See, I told you. Billstein takes car of their customers. I've only used Billstein for the past 4 years, on all my cars, and my brothers. They have never done me wrong.

slickgt1, you mentioned that you had to cut your bump stops when installing your HD's along with your l-tuned springs? is that really necessary? the reason i'm asking is because i am really considering getting the eibach pro kit and want to make sure it is done right. also, did you have any alignment issues afterwards?

I don't think that cutting the bumpstop is necessary, but I did it anyway. It won't hurt anything. I actually had some allignment issues, but I think that was due to me installing 4 out of 6 Tom's links. Once I put the last 2 in, the allignment is normal again.

were there any camber issues? i heard that any good alignment shop should be able to adjust it within spec. if that is true, i'm for sure gonna get the springs.

That the problem that I had. It went back to normal once I finished installing the links. So if you don't put the links in, you will be fine I am sure.

does cutting the bumpstop affect the height when you lower it?
