That's not really a stupid question. It depends on the spare and the size of the spare. Some people will just carry the spare an a large spacer like posted above. If it's a 2 wheel kit and the wheels that you are running aren't staggered, then you can essentially put the spare on the rear and move that rear wheels to the front. If you have a stoptech kit or are interested in one, just check out the wheel fitment templates.

Another FYI - the Supra compact spare does NOT fit over the brakes (been there, done that).
