Default Suspension on a Budget - shocks/springs

I just picked up my GS4 tonight and am eager to start reserching a few mods to get things rolling on my newest project. I'd like to freshen up the suspension, however I'm trying to keep things relativley inexpensive. If I could keep it under 500 that would be great, 400 would be even better.

Was thinking about L-Tuned or KYB GR2 Shocks with Tein springs? Does anyone have this combo? GS guys, show me the way.

For that price point, I'd jump on the L-Tuned now:

They're just fine. Ltuned shocks are KYB and the springs are Eibach. Not the same as if you bought Eibach 'branded' springs for the GS, but made by them nonetheless.

Obviously it won't be slammed but it should be fine. Do a search for gsintensive's car. He has 20s on L-Tuned S/S. 19s fat and 20s will have the same diameter so the wheel gap should be the same.

So has no one used the Tein Springs? They have a significant drop - 1.8" front, 1.7" back. Is that too agressive? I would like to eventually toss on some stagered 19" wheels.

I have the Daizen springs. 1.9/1.7 drop. Perfect drop for me. I have staggered 19's on the fat setup.

Pic of setup -

Dang Henry,
Why didn't you tell me about this set-up before I went with the L-Tuned. Car is coming along nice cosmetically for someone that is unemployed. (Oops, I meant self-emplyed). I need the exhaust to finish it off for a while til' I get a JOB. Lol

PS I will post pics but not with this 56K
