Dealership and L-Tuned

L-Tuned is gone. Most dealers did not want to touch L-Tuned, even when they were still active.
The only place that still seems to be selling L-Tuned parts is Sewell. I am also curious about how dealers are handling L-Tuned. Since they are no longer around, will they still honor the 1 year warranty if they install it? It may be hard since if something went wrong, it would be hard for them to get parts if they are all gone.

It has 20's on it in the summer which I'm hoping to put back on in a week or so if it would ever stop snowing. I have the L-Tuned exhaust on it now, but haven't had time to put the springs/shocks on. Does your buddy work at a performance shop by chance?

Sweet Ride. I have seen it and was wondering who drove it. My friend's dad owns Pro-Tech Automotive and I have a bunch of friends that work there. They dont do any performance work there

I am not a legal expert but shocks and to a lesser extent springs are normal maintanence Items like brakes and filters? What if I went to Pep Boys for a set of their shocks. Unless they can prove the Shocks and Springs caused some type of damage there is not way in hell a dealer can refuse warranty service on other parts of the car. If they did I would contact the Lexus district rep in the area who will obviously have more knowledge of L-Tuned products. If the shocks or springs do go bad within a year Sewell should honor the warranty and replace the defective items.

I doubt there will be a problem with the warranty on L-Tuned parts. That TRD spinoff is gone, but I don't think Lexus will orphan us. And any dealer who went to the trouble to acquire the inventory as Sewell has wouldn't want the bad press that would go with leaving a warranty claim/owner twisting in the wind. Sounds like they are still trying to support the enthusiast. (Plus it's almost unheard of to have a bad spring and shocks don't exactly go limp on a daily basis, either.)
1 year is really a very short time in the normal life of those suspension parts.
Mine have been on over two years and I still couldn't be happier!!
