Default PIC** New TRD Strut Brace

Got this in today and decide to paint the engine cover also. The camera's flash makes the paint look more orange than what it really is. What do you guys think???

pgt, very nice detailing under the hood, looks good. I take it you already had the L-tuned shocks/springs before adding the TRD STB. Have you noticed any improvement in the handling or is this mod mainly useful for its Gee Whiz factor. I would like to do this to my GS also. I already have the L-tuned setup. Have the TRD LCB on the way from Sewell, that latest price they were quoting was too good to pass up. I just wonder if I will feel the difference after I put these new braces on. I am keeping the stock sway bars, at least for now, but have a set of the Daizen sway bar bushings ready to install when the car is on the hoist for the LCB. Hard to know when you do multiple mods at the same time which one is responsible for what portion of the end result. Do you mind saying where you got the STB and how much you paid? I wonder how much it would cost to get it powder coated prior to install. Nice job on the engine cover paint too. What kind of paint did you use? How was it applied, spray or brush?

I did have the L-tuned springs/struts before I did the strut bar. I barely noticed any difference after I installed it. Mainly in city driving but none really in highway driving. Sways are the way to go for a big difference in handling but you may lose some of the comfort.
