Suspension and Brakes Springs, shocks, coilovers, sways, braces, brakes, etc.

Can I put a....{TRD strut bar on the factory springs and struts)

Although I think an upgraded to the springs and shocks should come first, I don't see why putting an STB on would be bad. It helps to tie the front end together a bit and it will do that regardless of the s/s.

Cool, I'm eventually goin to upgrade the suspension in a couple months but the bar is on sale right now.

Can ask where and how much b/c I'm looking also?
Also, if you're going to change the bar, look into the bushings also. The only bushings I know are the Daizens, but not sure if they will fit on the TRDs

As morris said, he was asking about the STB and not the sways.

But to answer your question, the Daizen bushings will NOT fit on the TRD sways. Personally, I don't think the TRDs need anymore help from the bushings.

Yeah Strut Bar, Lexusparts.com has it for $150, everywhere else has it for over $200.

I have hard time to put the TRD strut bar on my GS4? I try to put it but the holes didn't fit right. Do i have to jack my car up? Can someone help me out.

some people have to jack up one side of their car to fit the stb in, seems like that's the case for you

for me i didn't have to do anything and the bar just fall into place

So that not a big problem right? Cuz i was hella tripping about it rite now i ran to my boi house to ask for help. Oh by the way does anyone try to clear out they 1998 tail light yet?

Having to jack up the car to install the STB is no problem. Many members here had to do that to get the STB to seat.

As for clearing the 98-00 tails, look here for info on this (and lots of others):

Oh i noe how to do it and yes i did it earlier but then i melt one of the light while i'm working on the STB so yea donno how it look for both. I have to go get a new one tomorrow hahaha please don't laugh though

ah.... that's why you should have just waited right in front of the oven when y ou bake it.
